Speech Therapist

Responsibilities:
- Evaluating levels of swallowing, speech and language difficulty.
- Creating and carrying out individualized treatment plans addressing specific functional needs.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and swallowing functions, including articulation, fluency, voice, language comprehension, expression, and swallowing.
- Educate patients and their families about communication and swallowing disorders, providing strategies for home practice and management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists and physical therapists, to coordinate patient care.
- Working with adults and children in developing and strengthening muscles used to swallow.
